Maryknoll Sister Margaret Lyons, 95, Ossining
OSSINING, N.Y. -- Sister Margaret Lyons, 95, a missioner to Chile and El Salvador, died Tuesday at the Maryknoll Sisters Center, in Ossining, where she was a sister for 69 years.
Born in South Boston, Mass., on March 16, 1921, to Margaret Mary (Davitt) Lyons and John Joseph Lyons, she received the name Marjorie Ann at baptism. She had two brothers, John J. and Paul and three sisters, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Marie. Her parents and siblings have predeceased her.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Dana R. and Donna J. Underwood, a White Plains couple, recently died within months of each other.
Donna Jeanne (Speerman) Underwood died peacefully on Sept. 16, 2016; her husband Dana Roland Underwood died on Dec. 26, 2016.
Dana R. was born April 23, 1931, the second of five children to Dana Herbert and Alta (Van Riper) Underwood in Owosso, Mich. The following year, Donna was born January 30, 1932, the only child of Ted and Ruth (Bosserdet) Speerman, also in Owosso.

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Ruth Decker Ingram, 89, of Orangburg, died Sunday, Jan. 1.
Ingram worked as a real estate professional in the county for many years before pursuing a career as a corporate relocation specialist.
Her life’s passion was giving to the Grace Episcopal Church community in Nyack, where she took on many leadership roles; serving as the president of the Episcopal Church Women, the first female senior warden in the church's history and later as a Eucharistic lay minister.
