DWI Millerton Motorist Strikes Man During Argument After Crash, Police Say
An area man driving under the influence and angry over a traffic accident, rammed his car into the man who had rear-ended him on Tuesday, before speeding away, according to the New York State police.
Robert J. Sheehan, 56, of Millerton was charged with DWI, reckless endangerment, and various traffic tickets after troopers from the Wappinger barracks were dispatched to a two-car hit-and-run auto accident that occurred on Interstate 84 in the area of Route 52, said Trooper Melissa McMorris.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Frank Aiello, Jr., 72, of Hyde Park, the owner of A&P Home Improvement, died Friday, Dec. 23, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
Born March 5, 1944, in Poughkeepsie, Aiello is the son of the late Frank and the late Rose (Berardi) Aiello Sr.
A lifelong resident and graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, he married Linda J. Lane on Sept. 11, 1966, at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie.

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- The Honorable Peter Branti Jr, 79, of Pomona formerly of Haverstraw, died on Friday, Dec. 23.
Born on Aug. 31, 1937, in West Haverstraw to Peter Sr. and Loretta (Natale) Branti, the longtime Haverstraw judge married Ann Spissinger on Aug. 25, 1962, at St Peters Church in Haverstraw.
