Poughkeepsie Teen In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A 15-year-old Poughkeepsie girl is in critical condition after being hit by a car while walking on South Chodikee Lake Road in Highland on Monday, according to the Lloyd Police Department. The girl was struck by a 51-year-old Highland man as he was traveling southbound in his 1999 Honda Accord around 7 p.m., police said.
