Two Brewster Schools Set To Reopen Friday
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Following almost two full days off, Henry H. Wells Middle School and C.V. Starr Intermediate School students in Brewster might be heading back to class on Friday, Dec. 2, if a generator can be installed in time.
The schools was closed early Wednesday when the school's main electrical supply system failed, leaving students and faculty in the dark, without phones, alarms, heat, security cameras and more at both facilities, school officials said.

Suspects In Nanuet Armed Home Invasion Caught
NANUET, N.Y. -- Three men have been charged with robbery and burglary stemming from a home invasion Wednesday in Nanuet, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.
The home invasion took place at 8:30 p.m. when the homeowner was confronted by Kyle Johnson, 30, of the Bronx, Jamon Sutton, 33 of the Bronx, and James Capeles, 26, of Brooklyn, when he walked into his garage on Newport Drive to retrieve something, said Officer Peter Walker.
The 49-year-old victim told police that when he entered the garage two men pointed guns at him and demanded money and jewelry, police said.
