Have You Seen Them? Cortlandt Home Burglary Suspects Caught On Camera CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- New York State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three men who committed a residential burglary on Wednesday, Oct. 12 in Cortlandt, according to the New York State Police. The men were caught on video surveillance entering the home on Hillcrest Avenue, state police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who may have observed suspicious activity in the area of Hillcrest Avenue is asked to contact Investigator Peter Ciacci at 914-788-8044 or by e-mailing Peter.Ciacci@troopers.ny.gov. Body Found In Hudson River Is Missing Man, Report Says The family of a man who has been missing say police have confirmed that the body found floating in the Hudson River on Friday, Oct. 21, is their loved one, according to News12. Raymond Ortiz, 57, who was mentally-disabled, disappeared from the area three weeks ago. He was last seen leaving St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers. His body was pulled from the Hudson River next to Water Grant and Van Der Dock streets in Yonkers, said News12. Diabetic Seizure Causes Driver To Slam Into Pole In Somers SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers Fire Department and emergency medical had to cut a driver out of an SUV early Monday after he suffered a diabetic seizure, sending his vehicle slamming into a utility pole on Primrose Street, according to Somers Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief John Mackey. The driver, who had to be extricated from the vehicle, was taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment,  said Somers Police Lt. Brian Linkletter. The roadway is currently open, but emergency personnel are waiting for utility workers to replace the pole that was snapped in half, Linkletter added.
