Police: Man Nabbed After Stealing Checkbook, Car From Bronxville Hospital WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A burglary suspect was nabbed by police after he stole a vehicle and a checkbook from New York Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, according to Bronxville Chief of Police Christopher Satriale. Initial reports of a possible mountain lion sighting in the Dellwood Park neighborhood in northern New City were updated with a photo revealing the creature is believed to be a bobcat. Information about the sighting was circulated through a neighborhood newsletter that was sent to residents by email. The photo shows a cat-like animal with spots on its rear legs in the grass. Healthcare Group With Westchester Offices To Pay $5.31M For Fraud Claims A Hudson Valley medical group that treats cancer patients has agreed to settle a Medicare-related civil fraud lawsuit for $5.31 million, according to U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Preet Bharara announced Friday. The settlement resolves claims brought under the False Claims Act, alleging Hudson Valley Hematology Oncology Associates routinely waived co-payments and then fraudulently billed Medicare for the co-payments, in addition to submitting false claims for services that it did not provide or were not permitted under the Medicare and Medicaid program rules, Bharara said. Police Seek Woman Wanted For DWI In Stop Near Tappan Zee Bridge TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The New York State Police in Tarrytown are asking for the public's help in locating a woman wanted for driving under influence. Erika Gomez, 35, is wanted on a bench warrant for driving while intoxicated following an accident on June 15 2008 on the New York State Thruway near the Tappan Zee Bridge.
