Teen Convicted In West Nyack Murder Case
WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- Dylan Lentini, accused of murdering his roommate following an alleged sexual assault, was found guility of second-degree murder on Friday by a Rockland County jury, according to lohud.com.
Lentini, 19, who rented a room from Michael Wimbert in West Nyack, a retired music teacher, after seeing a Craigslist ad for a gay roommate, was accused of stabbing him multiple times, according to lohud.com.

Ramapo Police Nab Couple With Heroin, Other Drugs
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo Police arrested two Pennsylvania residents on drug charges Thursday after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle, according to Ramapo Det. Sgt. Brian Corbett.
Rylee Smyth, 24, of Hawley, Pa., and Christopher Guglielmino, 22, of Tafton, Pa., were arrested after police responded to the report on Inwood Drive in the Hillcrest area around 3 p.m., police said.
During an investigation, police found the couple were in possession of 20 grams of heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine, Corbett said.

State Admits 'Mistake' In Buying Half Of Suffern Duplex
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Officials with a state buyout and acquisition program that deals with flood-prone areas, has admitted it recently made a mistake in Suffern by purchasing half of a duplex and not the other half, according to lohud.com.
The duplex, at 110 Lonergan Drive, in the Squire Gate neighborhood, was bought through the storm-related recovery program, New York Rising, earlier this month. After the purchase, program officials realized how complicated it would be to destroy the home, leaving the other attached duplex intact, said lohud.com.
