Wheelchair Thief Gets Six Years In Prison For Stealing Rolex
STAMFORD, Conn. -- The wheelchair robber who stole a $37,000 Rolex watch from the Sidney Thomas jewelry store in the Stamford Town Center pleaded guilty in court on Wednesday, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Making his 18th appearance since he was extradited from New York in May 2015, Larry Johnson, 36, will spend six years in jail for robbery, larceny and assault charges, said the Stamford Advocate.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A man wanted in Los Angeles on charges of murder, kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon was arrested at a rooming house in Bridgeport on Thursday morning, police said.
Samuel Calvario, 46, aka Felix Gonzales-Morales, was found and arrested by agents with the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force, Los Angeles police, Bridgeport police and Hartford police, police said. They had received a tip that he was hiding out in the area, police said.

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man wanted on domestic violence charges in Dutchess County was nabbed by New York State Police on Wednesday following a joint operation with the Connecticut State Police.
New York State police had issued an arrest warrant for Raymond Sprague III, 28, of Sharon, Conn., following a Sept. 3 incident in the Town of Northeast. Following an investigation he was charged with criminal mischief, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and criminal trespass, state police said.

Chestnut Ridge Man Convicted In Destruction Of Wife's Laptop
CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. -- A Chestnut Ridge man faces prison time after being convicted of destroying his wife's laptop over images she discovered on his cellphone, according to lohud.com.Nicholas Clark, 33, faces up to three years in state prison, District Attorney Thomas Zugibe told lohud.com.
The incident happened on Jan. 22, 2014, when the two got into a fight over the images. The jury convicted Clark of third-degree criminal mischief on Monday, said lohud.com.
Clark is being held in the county jail until his Jan. 3, 2017, sentencing, added lohud.com.

Faso, Teachout In Dead Heat In New Poll On 19th Congressional District
A new poll released Tuesday conducted by Time Warner/Siena College shows the hotly contested 19th Congressional District race between Republican John Faso and Democrat Zephyr Teachout are in a dead heat, according to Roll Call.com.
Of the 678 voters polled in the district, 43 percent said they would vote for Faso and 42 percent said they would cast their vote for Teachout, said Roll Call.com.
Rep. Chris Gibson, who currently hold the seat, is not running for re-election, added Roll Call.com.
