Yonkers Teacher Fired After Criminal Record Discovered, Report Says YONKERS, N.Y. -- A teacher at a Yonkers school was fired last week after officials learned he had an arrest record, according to News 12.James Wilkins, who taught health at the Pulaski School and School 15, was fired Thursday, Sept. 22, after school officials learned he had a record for grand theft and identity fraud in North Carolina, said News 12. Danbury Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting 13-Year-Old DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, according to Danbury police.The Danbury Police Department received information on Aug. 30 that Nelson Cassiano, 64, had abused the 13-year-old child, police said. Following an investigation into the complaint, the department issued an arrest warrant for Cassiano on Sept. 23, said Danbury Police Det.
