NORWALK, Conn. -- Jamaican gangs, drugs and reluctant witnesses all surround the 1993 cold case homicide of a Norwalk man that Lt. Art Weisgerber is still trying to unravel today. The search for an elusive killer began on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1993, when the body of Stanley McKoy, 22, was found in the woods behind Crespo's Grocery on South Main Street.

RIVERTOWNS, N.Y. -- Residents are being asked to voice their opinion and help save the beauty and cherished natural resources of the Hudson River from 10 new proposed anchorage locations by the United States Coast Guard.

Platterkill Woman Pretends To Be Doctor, Fills 14 Prescriptions, Police Say
PLATTEKILL, N.Y. -- A Plattekill woman, pretending to be a doctor, managed to have 14 prescriptions filled before being caught by police, said the New York State Police.Christina Nasti, 28, was charged with 14 counts of criminal impersonation, after it was discovered that she was calling in prescriptions for herself by impersonating a doctor.
She is being held at the Ulster County Jail on $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.
Stamford Police Seek Public's Help In Identifying Three Gunmen
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police were kept busy running from one location to the next Sunday investigating three separate shooting incidents, and are asking for the public's help in identifying any of the shooting suspects.
The first shooting took place around 2:30 a.m., outside of the Discovery Cafe on Stillwater Avenue, said Capt. Richard Conklin.
Conklin said in that incident, three shots were fired from a black Honda, in the air, and nobody appeared to have been hurt, he added.
