Sanchez, 39, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and unlawful possession of marijuana after police received a report June 16 from school officials that she had driven her vehicle onto the property at East Main Street and began filming the school bus drivers, police said. Men May Have Information About Suspicious Sloatsburg Death SLOATSBURG, N.Y. -- Ramapo police are asking for help in identifying three men who may have been in the area of where a Middletown man was found dead next to a burning car in Sloatsburg.Ossen Lavaud, 48, of Middletown, was found outside a burned Ford Taurus near a wastewater treatment plant on Waldron Terrace early Tuesday, said Ramapo police. Police said the men may be witnesses and may have information to help in the investigation into Lavaud's death. Anyone who has information as to the men's identit, or can identify the logo on the blue shirt is asked to call 845-357-2400.

Derby Man Dies After Being Hit By Car DERBY, Conn. -- A 57 year-old Derby man was struck and killed by a car while walking along Route 34 near Chapel Street late Thursday night, according to the Connecticut Post. The unidentified man was pronounced dead on the way to Yale-New Haven Hospital, Derby police told the Connecticut Post.  The department is not releasing the man's name until his family is notified. Leaking Water Pipe Leads To Indian Point 2 Shutdown BUCHANAN, N.Y. -- Entergy officials said the shutdown this morning of Indian Point Unit 2 by control room operators was done to fix a leaking pipe and does not pose a threat to the public.The shutdown occurred after plant engineers found a small leak of Hudson River water from a pipe in a non-radioactive system. The shutdown will also enable workers from Con Edison to test a breaker in a switchyard located near Indian Point, Entergy said.
