Alert Issued For Missing Man Who Could Be In Area
Officials are searching for Juan Rodrigues, 91, who has dementia and was last seen at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital in Port Washington in Nassau County. Rodrigues, who also has a heart condition, may be in need of medical attention. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt and black pants. He is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds and having black hair and blue eyes. Bethel Police Department Welcomes Newest Officer
BETHEL, Conn. -- Sometimes things just look shiny and new. And that's how Officer Garrett Vasquez, one of Bethel Police Department's newest officers, looked when he recently graduated from the Connecticut Municipal Police Academy after spending six month training. Vasquez will now undergo 16 weeks of field training with senior officers from Bethel Police Department before being ready to head out on his own.
