Stratford Residents Express Pros, Cons Of DOT Plan For I-95 Exit Gets
STRATFORD, Conn. -- Residents, both for and against, a proposed exit and entrance ramp at exit 33 off I-95, packed a meeting held by the state Department of Transportation to discuss the project on Thursday, June 16, in Stratford, according to the Stratford Star.
Some of the 150 residents who attended the meeting, said the project was too expensive at a cost of $29.5 million, while others said it would take business away from the businesses at the Milford exit, said the Stratford Star.
