BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Bill Flash, a financial adviser with Edward Jones who is celebrating his fifth anniversary in Brewster, does not want to sound corny, but he really loves his job and helping others.
Whether it's helping a resident plan for retirement or working with Toys for Tots, it's all the same.

Wilton's Riverbrook Regional YMCA Seeking Young Triathletes
WILTON, Conn. -- Children can have fun this summer and grow muscles at the same time by taking part in the Riverbrook Regional YMCA "Race4Chase Youth Triathlon" program, named in honor of Chase Kowalski, a boy from Newtown who loved to run, swim and bike.
Race4Chase strives to empower kids ages 6 to 12 to reach their full potential and to promote healthy, fun, community activities for local youth.

Darien Light Bulb Swap A Success
DARIEN, Conn. -- Nearly 250 Darien residents recently participated in the town’s first light bulb swap at the Darien Library, where they exchanged nearly 1,300 incandescent light bulbs for new, energy-efficient Energy Star LED bulbs, free of charge. Each Darien resident who swapped out five of their home’s old, inefficient light bulbs is expected to save more than $50 in annual energy costs. Combined, these residents will save approximately $13,000 annually. During the lifetime of the new LED bulbs, they will collectively save approximately $300,000.
