Two Men Arrested On Drug Charges In Wilton After Traffic Stop WILTON, Conn. -- Two Norwalk men were arrested on drug charges after Wilton officers pulled them over on a motor vehicle violation, police said. During the stop, officers found illegal drugs and packaging materials, police said.  Fernando Gutierrez-Franco and Israel Gutierrez-Franco, both 23, were each charged with charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drugs with intent to sell.  They are due in court on May 23.

Norwalk Officer Arrests Knife-Wielding Suspect High On PCP NORWALK, Conn. -- A Wethersfield man who was high on PCP was arrested by Norwalk police after he was found standing in the middle of New Canaan Avenue yelling at drivers and waving a large knife, according to The Hour. A Norwalk police officer spotted Charles Cannon, 42, and called for backup, the Hour said. When the officer approached Cannon, the suspect waved his knife and ignored multiple requests to drop the knife. Officers said it took four hits with a Taser to bring him down, said The Hour.
