Eastchester Library Screens Films On Fridays EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Most residents probably don't realize that movies are shot in Eastchester. Recently, the Emmy and Tony award-winning actor Bryan Cranston stopped by the Eastchester Library while he was in town filming "Wakefield," an upcoming film based on a short story by E.L. Doctorow. Spring Valley Mayor Still Receiving Salary Following SUV Purchase SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Spring Valley Mayor Demeza Delhomme is still receiving his paycheck although village trustees passed a resolution in March to cut his pay after he purchased a 2014 Ford Expedition to use for work, according to lohud.com. No one is sure why Delhomme is still receiving his $115,000 salary two months after the vote, including his lawyer Kenneth Brown, who sent a letter to trustees in April requesting they rescind the resolution.
