Bridgeport Police Seek Help Solving Robbery BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Detective Bureau is asking for assistance in identifying the three hooded suspects who are responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at the Sunshine Kitchen & Deli at 999 Maplewood Ave. on Thursday, April 7.During the robbery, one of the suspects is seen on surveillance video holding a gun on the two clerks as the other two steal money and other items from the store. During the robbery, one of the suspects unplugged and damaged the DVR system, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det M. Fiumidinisi at 203-581-5246.

The Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles granted early release to Dominic Badaracco, 79, who was sentenced in 2013 to seven years for trying to bribe a judge in a case regarding his missing wife. Police Call Easton Shooting Accidental EASTON, Conn. -- A shooting that took place on Sunday, April 10 is being called an "accidental discharge," by the Easton Police Department, according to the Easton Courier. Police said the shooting took place at 3:10 p.m. on Morehouse Road, but released very few details on the incident, said the Easton Courier.  An unidentified injured person was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital by Easton EMS, added the Easton Courier.
