Car Slams Into Building On Route 59 In Ramapo RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A driver who lost control of his vehicle slammed into the Goodyear Tire Store on Route 59 on Sunday, according to the Ramapo Police Department.Police said the accident occurred at the intersection of Main Street in the Monsey area after the driver, who was traveling east on Route 59, lost control of his car, swerved into the parking lot and hit the building. The village of Kaser building inspector responded to the scene to assess the damage, and a structural engineer will perform a further evaluation to make sure the building is safe.
