Services Set For Mya Hall, Alexandria Restaurant Worker Killed In I-70 Crash Services have been set for 28-year-old Mya Hall, who was killed in a crash on I-70 last weekend. Hall, of Woodlawn, was remembered by her colleagues from Matt and Tony's in Alexandria on a GoFundMe as "a talented manager" who "brightened everyone's day with her smile and her sense of humor." A homegoing service will be held at the Vaughn Greene Chapel at Randallstown on Friday, Sept. 1. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., with the service to follow. Major House Fire Brings Responders To Burlington County Road (Developing) Responders turned up in droves to a major house fire in Burlington County Thursday night, Aug. 24. The incident was reported on the 2800 block of Woodhaven Road in Cinnaminson around 10 p.m. 6abc reported the incident may be a home explosion, though this information could not immediately be confirmed.

Bodies Found In Jersey City Parking Garage: Preliminary Cause Of Death Revealed Two bodies were found in a Jersey City parking garage early Thursday, Aug. 24. Police believe that the two males found just after 7:40 a.m. at 270 Magnolia Avenue overdosed, according to city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione. The garage is located behind the Lowe's Jersey City theater in Journal Square. Two pellet guns and drug paraphernalia were found on both victims, who appeared to be in their late 20s or early 30s, Wallace-Scalcione said. However, the investigation remains ongoing and the official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.

Police ID Motorcyclist, 35, Killed In I-66 Crash Police have identified the 35-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Interstate 66 over the weekend. Cody P. Riley, 36, of Owens Cross Roads, AL, was riding east at an excessive rate of speed on a 2018 Yamaha FZ09, when he lost control around 8:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, Virginia State Police said. Riley was thrown from the vehicle in the express lanes at the 60 mile marker. His bike came to rest on the left shoulder. Details Released In I-66 Shooting, Alexandria Man Arrested Authorities have released details in an I-66 shooting that ended in the arrest of a 24-year-old Alexandria man. Daniel L. Serrano was heading east on the highway in Fairfax County around 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, when the male driver of a black Honda sedan threw an object at Serrano's car, Virginia State Police said. Serrano in return fired several rounds at the other vehicle, authorities said. Both vehicles pulled over to the side of the interstate near the 50 mile marker. Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Northern Virginia Crash Police in Prince William County have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Tuesday, Aug. 22. Muhammad Mubashar, 30, of Manassas, was operating his bike at a high rate of speed south on Lake Jackson, when he lost control while navigating a turn in the roadway, around 10:30 p.m., county police said.
