Search For Missing Person Ends Tragically Near NJ Mountain The search for a missing person ended tragically when their body was found near a New Jersey mountain, authorities said. The person, whose name is being withheld, was last seen on Friday, Aug. 18, according to Hopewell Township and Pennington Borough police. Wanted Berks Birthday Party Shooter ID'd As Delco Native: Authorities A 26-year-old man is wanted in a double Berks County shooting that broke out at a birthday party, authorities announced. Anne Arundel Officer Suspended With Pay Following Domestic Assault: Police An Anne Arundel County police officer has been suspended with pay following a domestic violence arrest. Tyrell Thomas, a 3-year department veteran, was charged with second-degree assault on Saturday, Aug. 19, his department said. Thomas is assigned to the Bureau of Community Services. Stafford Man Stabs Victim In Chest, Leg: Sheriff A 38-year-old man was arrested in a stabbing last week in Stafford, authorities said. Thomas Soden is believed to have stabbed the victim near Naomi Road and Cobb Street Friday morning, Aug. 18, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said. The adult male victim was transported to the hospital with what was thought to be life-threatening injuries. The victim was treated at the hospital for stab wounds to his chest and leg. He is in stable condition. Soden was charged with malicious wounding and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. This is an ongoing investigation. …
