Stamford Teacher Gets 5 Years In Prison For Sex Assault Of Student STAMFORD, Conn. -- A former Stamford High School teacher was sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday for having a sexual relationship with a student, according to the Stamford Advocate. Danielle Watkins, 32, of Norwalk was arrested last July after the victim told authorities about their ongoing sexual relationship. He also said Watkins had provided and smoked marijuana with him and a younger student. Google Says New Service Will Revolutionize Computer Storage WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Tech giant Google is set to revolutionize cloud-based data storage with its new Nearline product, according to Business Insider. Google's new product takes aim at Amazon.com's cloud service Glacier. Both products will offer storage at about 1 cent per gigabyte per month. Google's Nearline stands out because officials claim it can access the data stored in three seconds or less. Glacier can, at times, take several hours, Business Insider said. Missing Person Tops North Castle Police Blotter NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- Here's a look at recent police activity from the North Castle Police blotter. A Bedford Road caller reported her husband called her at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 28 at 3:03 p.m., to tell her he was on his way home, and that he had not yet arrived. The caller stated he is a janitor at Coman Hill School and was there today because there were sports events. He does not have a cell phone, so she has been unable to try to reach him. Man Charged In Identity Theft Case In Ossining OSSINING, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks charged a man with identity theft last month after he tried buying two motorcycles in Ossining with a fake identity, according to officials. Arthur V. Sherwood Jr., 29, of the Bronx allegedly used a fictitious identity to try buying two Suzuki motorcycles valued at more than $16,000 from Hudson Valley Motorcycles in October of last year, police said. The employee helping Sherwood became suspicious when the suspect left the store before the line of credit was approved, police said. Sherwood was arrested on Feb. 26 …
