Mahopac Man, 30, Accused Of Sexually Abusing Teen Girl MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A Mahopac man has been arrested on charges that he sexually abused a 14-year-old girl in his home, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith. Daniel G. Moloney, Jr., 30, is accused of allegedly victimizing the girl, described as a family friend, police said. Based upon the girl's allegations, investigators obtained and executed a search warrant for Moloney’s home on Wednesday, Oct. 12. Smith. Mario A. DePaz-Espino, 29, was charged after he was stopped at 4 a.m. on Route 6 in Southeast for a traffic violation, police said. The deputy determined that De Paz-Espino was intoxicated after he failed a series of field sobriety tests, Smith said. State police said D'Zhanre Herring failed to show up in court in May to face charges from a November 2015 arrest in which she is accused of possessing more than $1,000 in stolen merchandise and burglary tools.
