Beacon, Arlington Students Picked For All-American Marching Band DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- In January, two Dutchess County high school students will find themselves performing on a football field in front of 40,000 fans as part of the prestigious marching band at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. For that deed, Norton received a Certificate of Merit on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the annual meeting of the fire department for saving his grandfather's life when he was choking on food.
