Kain S. Peterson, 21, of Wappinger is wanted by state police in Wappinger and Fishkill Justice Court following a fraud complaint reported to police in March.  Petersen is accused of using a stolen credit card to make several purchases in the Dutchess County area. Fishkill Justice Court issued a warrant ordering Petersen's arrest in April. He is described as being a white male, 6-foot-3 inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. …

Man Charged With Pushing, Kicking Woman In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Putnam Valley man was charged with attempted assault after pushing a woman to the ground and then kicking her, according to Yorktown police. Zachary Heady, 24, was charged after police received a call from a woman who said he had pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the back on Kear Street on Sunday. Officers located Heady around 4:14 p.m. the same day on Commerce Street where he was arrested for the assault, in addition to possession of marijuana, police said. Haverstraw Man Arrested After Domestic Disputes HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- A Haverstraw man was picked up by Stony Point police on domestic violence charges following two incidents over a three-day period.Manuel A. Hernandez, 26, is awaiting arraignment on charges of criminal contempt and aggravated harassment after being accused of violating a protective order on two separate occasions, police said. The first incident took place Aug. 28, when Hernandez was charged with aggravated harassment, police said. He was arrested again Aug. 31, after contacting the same victim despite a protective order, police said.

Wappingers Falls Man Faces Weapons Charge After Running Light, Police Say EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A Wappingers Falls man was charged with criminal possession of a weapon after being stopped for running a run light in the Town of Fishkill on Saturday. Latif S. Reid-Ogarro, 22, was stopped by New York State Police after running the red light on Route 9D. During a search, troopers found Reid-Ogarro with a revolver with a defaced serial number, and a passenger with a small amount of marijuana, according to state police.
