Bridgeport Teens Charged With Firing Into Backyard Party Injuring Three
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Two Bridgeport teens have been charged with shooting into a backyard party on Monday, injuring three people, according to the Connecticut Post.
Owen Hines, 19, and Taivon Reed, 18, were charged with three counts of assault, failure to have a pistol permit, reckless endangerment and illegal use of a firearm after shooting at partygoers during a family get-together on Anson Street, said the Connecticut Post.

Conn. State Police Issue Thousands Of Tickets Over Labor Day Weekend
Connecticut State Police issued thousands of tickets over the Labor Day weekend, ranging from speeding to using a cellphone, in an effort to keep drivers safe.The enforcement period, which ran from Friday to midnight on Monday, focused on drunken driving violations, with DUI checkpoints in place over the entire time period. In addition, police said they were also on the lookout for speeders, and distracted and aggressive drivers.

Wappingers Falls Man Faces Weapons Charge After Running Light, Police Say
EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A Wappingers Falls man was charged with criminal possession of a weapon after being stopped for running a run light in the Town of Fishkill on Saturday.
Latif S. Reid-Ogarro, 22, was stopped by New York State Police after running the red light on Route 9D. During a search, troopers found Reid-Ogarro with a revolver with a defaced serial number, and a passenger with a small amount of marijuana, according to state police.
He was charged with for criminal possession of a weapon. His passenger, Alara Bedka, 23, of East Fishkill, was charged with possession of marijuana.
