POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro is calling upon all residents to vote for the Dutchess Rail Trail in the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy's (RTC) nationwide vote for inclusion in the National Rail-Trail Hall of Fame. Suffern Police Want To Know: Who Are The Best Volunteers?
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The Suffern Police Department is seeking nominations from the public for volunteers who keep everything from Little League to soup kitchens up and running. The nominee can volunteer in any area, including sports, helping stray animals, working in the community, or any other capacity. The department will recognize different volunteers on their Facebook page on a regular basis. TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- The Tuckahoe Union Free School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill one seat on the Board of Education due to the resignation of Trustee Henry Caporoso. Interested candidates should submit a letter of intent and resume for consideration to the district clerk by no later than 4 p.m. Thursday.
