Greenwich Woman Hits Stone Wall, Faces DWI Charge
GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Greenwich woman was charged with driving under the influence after she drove into a stone wall on Wednesday, according to Greenwich Time.
Yanina LaChance, 42, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police responded to Sound View Drive about the collision, said Greenwich Time.
LaChance was also charged with failing to drive in lane. She was released on $2,500 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, May 19. According to police, the Greenwich resident was also involved in another accident while driving drunk last month, added Greenwich Time.

Dutchess County Workshop Focuses On Ticks, Lyme Disease
HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- With summer approaching and residents heading outdoors, the threat of Lyme disease is back in the forefront. To help, Dutchess County officials will hold a Tick Task Force Education Workshop on Wednesday, May 11, at the Henry A. Wallace Center in Hyde Park.
The event will run from 9 a.m.-noon with a wide range of speakers, including doctors and legislators involved with stopping Lyme disease. Monroe Residents Invited To 'Coffee With A Cop'
MONROE, Conn. -- Monroe residents are invited to get to know their local police officers during their monthly "Coffee With A Cop," event on Saturday, May 7 at McDonald's.
Held from 8 to 10 a.m. at the fast-food restaurant at 390 Monroe Turnpike, officers will be on hand to enjoy coffee and "just talk," with residents. No agenda, no speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in town, said the Monroe police.
