Croton Fire Department Responds To Possible Carbon Monoxide Incident CROTON, N.Y. -- Croton Fire and Emergency Medical Services, as well as the Ossining Paramedic unit, were dispatched to the Bari Manor Apartments on Tuesday for a possible carbon monoxide incident. Briarcliff Middle School Science, Engineering Team Earns First Prize BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff Middle School Science and Engineering Team recently earned a first-place finish at the Westchester Engineering Expo at White Plains High School. “The kids did a fantastic job of making a machine out of toys that opened an umbrella in 11 steps,” said SET team advisor Jodi Shearer.
