In New Rochelle HS Film Class, iPhones, iPads Are Encouraged
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- In most classrooms students are told to put away their cell phones and other electronic devices, not so in Anthony Stirpe's film class at New Rochelle High School, according to the Wall Street Journal. Instead, once class begins the students get busy with cell phones and iPads as part of their daily routine in a classroom dedicated solely to making films, documentaries, and other projects with Apple products, said The Wall Street Journal.

Brewster Theatre Company Hosts Auditions For One-Acts Plays, Spring Cabaret
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- It's time to come out of hibernation and audition for one or all in a series of one-act plays and musical cabarets sponsored by the Brewster Theater Company in April.The one acts include "An Evening of the Outrageous and Absurd," by Christopher Durang."
Auditions: Friday, April 1, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Center, (HVCP), second floor, 15 Mount Ebo Road; Saturday, April 2, - 2 to 5 p.m.at St. Andrew's, 26 Prospect St. Callbacks - to be announced.
